Graham and I can hardly wait to host Friendsgiving this year. More than twenty of our dear friends are coming over for a party that we’ve themed “Sides and Salads (and Desserts).” No turkey centerpiece for this meal! Everyone is bringing something delicious—I’m especially looking forward to a generous serving of Sourdough Stuffing with Kale and Dates. And I’m hoping there’ll be a slice of pumpkin pie left over so that I can eat it for breakfast the next day with a mug of coffee. I love the morning after a dinner party, when the kitchen is mostly clean except for maybe some lingering wine glasses, and your home just feels so warm and lived in, like it was meant to be.
