New Work: Together

BIG NEWS, friends! I worked on this cookbook (!) but couldn’t tell anyone about it until now. I even kept it a secret from Graham! The book is titled Together: Our Community Cookbook and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle wrote the foreword. All the recipes come from women whose lives were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. In the aftermath of the tragedy, they gathered together to cook food for their families, friends, and neighbors in a communal kitchen at the Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre in West London, a space now affectionately named the Hubb Community Kitchen. (Hubb means “love” in Arabic.) Profits from sales of this book will go toward keeping the Hubb Community Kitchen open up to seven days a week. I’m incredibly honored to have been part of the team that brought Together to life, and I can’t wait for you to read it and cook from it.
