Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving week! Graham and I are so excited to be hosting both sides of our family in our little Berkeley apartment. We are going to roast our first turkey! Because we’re such nerds, we made a detailed shopping list, organized by area within each store (produce, dairy, etc.), as well as an hour-by-hour game plan for the big day. Here’s our menu, with links to recipes in case you’re still planning:
olives and cheese
sparkling wine
sourdough stuffing with kale and dates
make-ahead mashed potatoes and gravy
bitter greens salad
apple pie (from my cookbook!)
What’s on your Thanksgiving menu? Do you make the same dishes every year? Graham has always wanted to change things up and cook an entirely unexpected dinner, but the comfort of rituals and tradition won out this year.
