Gingerbread Alphabet

My handsome husband, Graham, teaches a typeface design class in San Francisco. Tonight is the last meeting of the year and all of the students will present their finished work. I made gingerbread cookies to celebrate, but instead of cutting them into classic shapes, I used the tip of a small knife to cut out each letter of the alphabet. I’m sure I didn’t do it perfectly (especially that W!), but I’m hoping nobody will mind. If you love gingerbread that’s boldly spiced and a little soft in the middle, then this is the cookie for you.
