Letterpress Printed Recipes

Remember those valentines that Graham and I sent to our clients and dear friends? We collaborated again on a new card. This one has a recipe for buckwheat crêpes (from the cookbook!) as well as a neat illustration of a buckwheat goddess that Graham drew. We decided to letterpress print the cards ourselves at the Center for the Book in San Francisco. G took a four-day class to learn how to properly use the press, and then we rented a few hours of time. It felt a bit like Santa’s toy factory.
