Cookbook: Second Pass
We’re getting closer to the exciting day when my next two cookbooks make their grand entrance. April 27, 2021 is publication day aka pub day (or “pub date” as Graham calls it—shh, nobody correct him, please!), and even though that’s about six months from now, the books are nearly finished. Or, I should say, my part in their creation is nearly finished. The final steps involve printing presses, overseas transportation, and warehouses.
For now, my primary role is to review the cookbooks as they move through a phase called Second Pass. After the completion of First Pass, this next review round includes design changes, photo placement decisions, and queries from the proofreader.
Once Second Pass is done, you guessed it, up next is Third Pass (the final look)!
