LA's Best Sandwiches
We are traveling to LA for a dear friend’s wedding (congratulations, Kiersten and Dante!) and I am daydreaming about all the delicious food in my future. LA is my favorite food and wine city, without a doubt.
On our last visit, we did a casual tour of LA’s best sandwiches. It was most certainly not a “sandwich crawl.” Why is that phrase so unappetizing? My in-laws live on the east side of the city, so we didn’t have a chance to eat a Godmother sandwich from Bay Cities, but that one definitely makes the list too.
In no particular order, here are a few of LA’s best sandwiches to try next time you’re visiting:
1. grilled pork bánh mì (pictured above!) — Bánh Mì My Tho
2. zhengyalov hatz (a flatbread filled with 15 types of herbs) — Zhengyalov Hatz
3. Italian sub sandwich — Roma Italian Deli and Grocery
Which LA sandwich would you crown the best in town? Tell me your favorites!
