New Author Portrait

Hello, hello! This is my new author portrait! It was photographed by the lovely Aya Brackett.

Now seems like the perfect time to introduce myself (or re-introduce, if you’ve been following along for a while). I’m a cookbook author who lives in the Berkeley Hills with my husband and son. I got my start working alongside chefs to create award-winning books like The A.O.C. Cookbook by Suzanne Goin and Tartine All Day by Elisabeth Prueitt. I’ve contributed to more than 30 cookbooks and written three of my own. My first solo cookbook, The Newlywed Table, was published in 2019. My latest books, Boards, Platters, Plates and One-Bowl Meals are available now. Next year, I have a brand-new book coming out and I cannot wait to tell you more—soon!

I have a lucky black cat named Merlin. My favorite vegetable is the potato.
